TAST week 8

The stitch for this week is "chain stitch". I have done a beautiful seam with this stitch on a crazy quilt block.

TAST week 7

The week's stitch for TAST 2012 week 7 is detached chain. This is a silk ribbon sampler I made with feather stitch and for the  buds and flower I used detached chain stitch.

This is a friend's block from a Round Robin. I embroidered  using detached chain and  french knots for the flowers.

 I find it very interesting working the feather stitch. On this block I used many different beads, of all sizes and shapes that made the difference. More photos of this block in my Flickr .
